NATURAL SELECTION - PREMIUM DENIM, SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST

Denim connoisseurs are used to thinking in terms of evolution when it comes to Jeans, affectionately following the ageing process and admiring the subsequent variations that make each pair unique. Perhaps unsurprisingly then a new premium denim label has taken Darwin’s theory of evolution as its inspiration. Named ‘Natural Selection,’ the label thankfully lives up to its hype. Made from 14.5 oz, red selvedge, narrow-width denim from Kurabo Mills, Okayama Japan, with washes ranging from raw through to ‘bruised’, ‘broken’ and finally ‘buried,’ heritage detailing is everywhere with all workmanship authentic and to the highest standard.

If that wasn’t enough to get even the most discerning denim fan hot beneath the collar, each pair features a beautifully hand drawn illustration upon the leather patch specially designed by the graphic artist Reilly as well as a complementary leather bound booklet with a brief introduction to Natural Selection and hand drawn sketches of the styles offered by the brand.

Definitely one of the most exciting new labels of the season, we’re delighted to be stocking Natural Selection at Coggles.com.
