We've been big fans of Timberland Boot Co. for some time at Coggles.com so we're delighted to be stocking the women's collection for the first time this season.
Inspired by women’s workwear during the time period 1918-1945, which started with women gaining the vote and culminated with the end of WWII, the collection celebrates a very empowering period in history for women. Despite the hardship faced by most and employment for many in manufacturing roles traditionally the preserve of men, there was never a loss of femininity and the workwear silhouettes of the time have been faithfully translated into the present day. The result is a perfect mix of purpose and beauty, combined with a quality and attention to detail that makes these shoes and boots as dependable as the women they pay tribute to.
