This is the second album from Georgia, US based band Manchester Orchestra. The band seem to have honed and matured their sound and the production from Joe Chicarrelli (The Shins, The Racontours) has added a slightly heavier, gutsy guitar based level to the sterling personal, honest song writing of singer Andy Hull. Comparisons have been made to the likes of Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters, and similarly to Dave Grohl, Andy Hull possesses a unique ability to strip almost every song back to create a beautiful and poignant acoustic adaptation.
