Dayve Hawk is the man behind Memory Tapes long awaited debut LP. Hawke’s sound captures an almost nostalgic and melancholic feeling with gorgeous, hazy, un-intrusive beats, soft piano synths and wavy, euphoric vocals. It’s like Hawke has taken recognisable elements of records you have heard before but put them together in an exquisite and unique way. Quite simply a beautiful album.
