Beneath This Burning Shoreline is Cherry Ghost’s second album following their critically acclaimed 2007 album Thirst for Romance.
Improving on their debut is no mean feet but Beneath This Burning Shoreline represents an even bigger calling card for those yet to be introduced to their brooding take on country/folk tinged rock. With a more distinct sound, epic story-songs and help from Doves and massive Attack producer Dan Austin, Cherry Ghost may well have released one of the albums of the year so far.
