Somewhere

Somewhere is the latest offering written and directed by Sofia Coppola and winner of the Golden Lion at the 67th Venice International Film Festival earlier this year.

The story is of a successful but bored Hollywood actor (Stephen Dorff) who spends most of his time drinking, smoking and womanising. That is until the arrival of his 11-year-old daughter (Elle Fanning) who is unexpectedly dumped in his care and accompanies him on a trip to Rome to promote his new film.

Well made, beautifully shot and superbly acted, Soewhere has gorgeous cinematography throughout and is truly in keeping with Coppola’s previous releases.
