Spring/Summer '10 Paul Smith Jeans continues to reference the work of film director Wes Anderson, taking inspiration from his most recent film ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, a story of three brothers’ journey of self discovery through India. Sharp grey marl single breasted jackets and classic trenches sit alongside Indian inspired Hawaiians and paisley shirts. Pastel striped chinos contrast with bright dip-dyed ginghams and bleached out checks. Chambray is introduced into the collection, detailed with soft paisley piping. It all adds up to a collection that is vibrant and elegant yet all the while retaining the edgier Paul Smith Jeans styling of recent seasons.
